Divemaster Information
Instructor: Don Snyder
First let me congratulate you on obtaining this level of training. The divemaster
class will be by far the most challenging class you have taken so far in your SCUBA diving training. This course requires
10 weeks of knowledge development, confined water and open water training to complete. Your rescue diver course set
the foundation for a part of what will be expected of you in the divemaster class. In your divemaster class you will
be learning all the necessary knowledge to continue your training to become an open water SCUBA instructor if you so desire.
As
an instructor I depend on my assistant instructor and/or divemaster to spot trouble with new divers before they become problems.
The divemaster and assistant instructor are my eyes and ears when I cannot be watching over everyone in class. New divers
will come to you for advice which by the end of this course you will be able to provide with confidence.
The first night
of class I will be handing out the class schedule and what will be needed to complete the course. The dates can be changed
if agreeable to the members of the class. It is important that we complete the requirements in an organized manner so
that no part of your training is left out.
One other thing
let me thank you for the privilege of training you on your first step into the professional side of PADI.
If you have any
questions, please contact me using the information below. I prefer that you email questions to me if possible.
Thanks you once
again.

However, if something has changed, you now answer “YES” to any of the questions on the RSTC, you will be required

If this is your first Don’s SCUBA, LLC class you will be required to complete a Student
