Sub-Aquatic is closing after more than 39 years in the diving industry. As of July 31,
2008 Sub-Aquatics will be no more. I for one will be sorry to see it go.
I learned how to dive at Sub-Aquatics in 1997 as an Open Water Diver and followed that course
to become an Open Water SCUBA instructor in 1999, IDC Staff Instructor in 2001 and Master Instructor in 2005. I’d
like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Sub-Aquatics for helping me become a PADI diving professional.
On a brighter note I will still be teaching SCUBA only under my own company, Don’s SCUBA,
LLC. Many of you have noticed that I start handing out my personal business card, pens and note pads. This was
originally at the request of an attorney. Now it is because I have chosen for now not to join any other Columbus area
SCUBA store. I will be teaching Open Water classes at my house for the academics and the Southwest Community Center
YMCA in Urbancrest for confined water. I will also teach at any location of your choice if arrangements can be made
for the required facilities.
Specialty class will also be schedule at my house.
